2023 GA RB Jamarion Wilcox (Kentucky Verbal)

I know many have wondered why UGA hasn't taken a serious look at Wilcox. Well come to find out, they have their own RB commit who they promised that he'd be the man in their class. Similar to what OSU promised Fletcher.
Wilcox is talented, but doesn't play the recruiting game, and hence why his stars and rankings haven't risen.

Our RB room is pretty full at the moment. We have commitments at RB for both 23 and 24.
Not a shot at the young man, but we probably don't have the room

My point was, that the UGA staff in a sense promised Robinson that he'd be the only RB in '23, or they would've pursued Wilcox more seriously. IF Robinson were to decommit(slim chance) than Wilcox would be one of 1st RBs to call, from what I've read.
It's all hypothetical from the UGA side, I know

  • Jamarion Wilcox was offered last week. When I last spoke to him, the tentative plan was to visit for The Game if his team lost in the playoffs. They did lose, so I need to confirm if Jamarion will be on campus or if that visit will happen in December. I do think an OV will happen either way, though.
