G/F Evan "The Villain" Turner (2010 Naismith Winner)

I'd love to see OSU win a national title, but I also hope Evan gets what he wants most. I don't think it makes much sense for him to come back. I sure don't want to see him stay an extra year and then be prevented from getting his payday due to an NBA lockout - that would be like getting punished for being generous. Theoretically he's only a year from graduating, so it wouldn't be all that inconvenient for him to try to get his degree if he left now (he could probably earn his degree in a few years just taking classes over the summer).

There are a lot more things at play here than the normal, he is a high draft pick he should go.

He is a year away from a degree, most are still 2 or 3 years...His mom wants him to get a degree...

He truly likes it here.

He has said some things behind hte scenes and that sound like he is truly torn, after earlier there was all talk that he was probably going to leave...

60/40

Gotta say ... this really reminds me of Beanie.

I'm getting sick of seeing Buckeye fans saying Oh Thanks Evan for everything... He's not gone yet. It isn't selfish of us to hope he comes back, the NBA will always be there, and I'm sure he would love to play basketball for the University he loves, and with teammates he's played with for the past few years.

And those who are assuming he's gone are sick of being lectured about it on a regular basis.

I'm assuming he's gone. If he comes back, awesome, but I'm not getting my hopes up. I would leave if I were him because I think it's the best time for him, and I think he will. Shame on me I guess.
