Just taking a shot here...flying into Ft. Lauderdale but need to get to Miami. Cab will cost approximately $90.

Anyone in the area who knows of shuttles, etc that might be better than $180?
 
Honestly Grad, if there is one car rental company with on-site rental at both airports, it will only cost $20-25 to rent a car in Lauderdale and drop it of at MIA. Worst case you have to drop it off site and take the Hertz or whatever shuttle to MIA. I guess it depends how much time you have between flights.

I always find they charge drop fees for one way rentals...sometimes as high as $100.

Yep. But not in Florida. It is a tourist based economy that depends on moving the ATMs...er.....tourists around the state without an economic penalty. Had Grad been talking about transferring from Topeka to Wichita, I would not have said that. :p

I wonder how much a car would be. . Wouldn't surprise me if it was less than $100 for a week. . Then you could accidentally get to South Beach . . oh shoot .
Just saw you're going to the Clevelander . . One of the most fun nights of my life. . . Jealous
