I took it as a harmless joke, and my response was meant the same.
Now, on to the deeper issues at hand. For someone who puts on an air of being completely uninterested in those truffles, you seem oddly interested in them. I think--and correct me if I'm wrong (but I'm not)--that you're longing to break free from your whole manly-man persona, Kyle. Longing to grab a razor, shave off that beard, maybe splash on a little expensive English aftershave (and no, English Leather does not apply) and go out and get your gourmet on.
