For those who will be at the game today........

Our fans have gotten pretty spoiled.. ive noticed that we only get really loud for 1-2 games a yr at home..

This yr it will be Michigan and Penn St...

Our fanbase just takes the team's success for granted vs most of these mediocre teams in the B10..

We're like a Lakers crowd.. we only get rowdy for the big events

the thing is..as a student in Block O, we can only do so much. The two ends of the stadium will get loud, but it takes a miracle for anyone on the sides of the shoe to give anything but a golf clap. You're not at a football game to drink tea and eat cookies. Start cheering and stand up. Help us out.

I was in the North End of the shoe. In B deck. Not loud. Not loud at all. Sometimes on 3rd down it was loud. The two block Os was neat. And it did add more cheers before the game and add to Block O cheers. But as far as energy, loudness and excitement...nope, it wasn't there.

What happened to the crowd that loved to watch Buckeye Defense and get loud every time they were on the field. Plus...as far as students go, there were at least 10,000 of you missing in the 1st quarter. If all you want to do is drink, then stay at home and drink, and give your ticket to somebody who will show up to the game on time.

I was at the 'shoe at 9:45 this morning, ensuring a front row spot for myself. I can't speak for everyone, but I'll say that noon games don't bode well for kids who are out late on friday nights. I wish all games were 3 o clock.

... 6. You can learn a great deal by modeling your behavior on folks like myself. If you see someone who is conservatively dressed and has a bunch of dried cheese sauce on the corners their mouth, nacho crumbs on their chin and jalapeno juice on the front of their shirt, watch and learn.

Fixed it...

We had a family day in my section. Three people had kids and were taking pictures between half the plays (no exaggeration here). One guy left with his kid at halftime because it was too hot.

Fucking halftime? Did you come to see the game, or just take pictures with the Shoe as a background?

The place was definitely NOT rocking today. Disappointing.

The crowd around me was lame. Not sure how anyone else feels, but I hate it when everyone sits for the whole game. It's football, not an opera. It gets way too muggy just sitting there all bunched up side by side and nobody wanted to get up and cheer. So, instead of people getting up on their feet and getting loud, they were putting their knees in my back and blocking my view. Cheap golf claps, too. Pretty disappointing.

If I had to grade the surrounding fans, I'd give them an F.

How can their knees be in your back while you're standing up?
