I remember that game vividly. We lived out of state and had to opportunity to get the game on TV pay-per-view. $11! Then 56-0. I was ecstatic because I love a rout. But then they were outscored 35-0 (I think) in the 2nd half. Typical Cooper game.

56-0 then Iowa scores right before HT to make it 56-7. Then outscores us 28-0 in 2nd half

Copper played backups the entire second half and stubbornly refused to substitute for them despite their poor performance.

He had a fantastic career but his play through the playoffs was on another level, probably moved up the draft charts with those 4 games alone. One thing I love about following recruiting is seeing how the recruit's career pan out here vs what you project. I thought Ransom was one of the best, if not THE best, safety in his class before he even committed to us. He panned out to be a great one here with no only his play but his leadership on defense.

Anyone know if these banners, in this particular format, still exist? I'm looking for one of these with 2024 added and I cannot find one. The ones I have found look very different and significantly worse (imo). These are called "dynasty" banners. They are wool.

Unfortunately, even looking for past Champions the previous couple years and in other sports, I cannot find any of them like this either. It's like they just stopped making these a few years ago.

There are quite a few 9x champion banners out there. I believe there is one on Fanatics that's pretty sweet. I wait for the price to drop and then pull the trigger though.

But if you took up sewing only to add this title to the banner, think how much your friends would respect you.

The whole playoffs was like a fever dream. Sawyer and JT finally being game wreckers, Jeremiah Smith looking like Terrell Owens, Donovan Jackson for some reason being a better LT than he was a G, it just went on and on

Donovan Jackson stepping in like he did was wild. The only bad rep I remember from him is getting smoked by Abdul Carter once. Didn't really notice him at all otherwise.
