As far as I'm concerned, the World Cup is getting moved to the winter in 2022. Too many parties are already paid-and-spoken for (i.e. FIFA and UEFA).

I do like the CONCACAF guy basically saying, this is what you decided (summer in Qatar), so live with it.

But the European football chief's view is opposed by Jeffrey Webb, president of CONCACAF, which governs football in North and Central America and the Caribbean.

"Historically, the World Cup is always played in June and I would definitely like the World Cup to be played in June, we accepted it," Webb said. "We went through a long process regarding that."

Missed the first half. Saw Sigurdsson scored again and played well by all accounts. Dempsey might have some competition when he returns from injury.

3:0 final score, and it could have been worse for Inter. Definitely not up to their standard.

Bale was booked in this one. He'll be suspended from the second leg next week.

Quite entertaining pair of videos. Shocking to see how improved the field has become at the Camp Nou compared to what it was when he first got there in '03. Funny to see some of the star players from yesteryear as well as what some of today's best looked like in there younger years.

Side note: I feel blessed that I was actually able to witness the man in person, albeit in a pre-season friendly in '06. Old Giants Stadium against the Red Bulls & he actually played the full '90, although he was incredible to see, alas it was against poor competition as the Red Bulls stunk that year if memory serves me correct. My memory of the game is barely of him at all however, as that was my indoctrination of the ability of a then 19-year old Messi. He came on at the half & absolutely stole the show from everyone, Ronaldinho included. Really didn't know much about the kid then (Didn't follow the sport as much back then), but certainly learned after that.

Side note x2: Every shitter (Checked quite a few), er Porta John at Old Giants Stadium was literally 99.9% pro-Giants. If there was a pro-Jets phrase written on the inside of one, it was circled & furiously made fun of. Some of the funniest things I've ever read were on the inside of those shitters. I got the impression there were very few, if any Jets fans in the area.

Edit: There are no words to describe how pathetic this is. Not only was the whole reaction wrong & despicable, but the efforts to try & catch this guy are beyond the worst pursuit of another human being I've ever witnessed. One oaf falls running after him & another literally gets juked off his feet. Players try slapping him & then there is the guy in cammies with a rifle slung around his back doing absolutely nothing. Disgusting.
