Florida Gators (official thread)

...plus Texas A&M covid forfeiting... 0-3 for all intent and purposes

SEC went 4-4 last year. Behind the 8-ball again this bowl season

Yeah, but only 1 game counts in the end, and we all know that...
And unfortunately that damn conference will have the last laugh yet again :sad2:

Florida Gators football spring camp is underway and first-year head coach Billy Napier has a quarterback question to solve, especially after Emory Jones entered the NCAA transfer portal and left UF with two signal callers in the mix. As redshirt sophomore Anthony Richardson and Ohio State transfer Jack Miller battle, Napier broke down the competition while meeting with the media Tuesday.

.
Miller, meanwhile, is also a redshirt sophomore and joins the Gators after two years as a backup with the Buckeyes from 2020-21. Miller logged four games as a redshirt freshman during the 2021 season at OSU and completed 5 of 8 passes for 66 yards.

"Well, there's a reason Jack's here, first of all," Napier said. "I think we anticipated potential issues. I think Jack comes across as a guy who has been in competition before, right. He's played in games before, right. And he does come across as, like, it's not too big for him. He's comfortable. He's able to handle the good and the bad. I think he can make a play and be the same guy the next play. He can make a mistake and be the same guy the next play. So there is some steadiness there that I appreciate. Certainly, you can see the ball comes out of his hand. He's got arm talent and he's accurate. And so far, he's picking it up pretty quick. So I think we made a good decision there, and we're glad Jack's on our team."

Just sayin': Napier really didn't say much......
