Florida Gators (official thread)

That one isn’t so far-fetched. 10-1 UGA finished #2 in the AP poll to 9-1 tOSU (loss was the ‘Bad Water’ game at Wiscy).

Buckeyes had 84 1st place votes, Gawja had 62.

Fair enough, there's room for debate, I suppose. However, I was asking which of their titles (note plural) are "undisputed".

"Georgia doesn't have flaky disputable national title claims like L5U. Unlike aLabama and L5U, all our titles are undisputed. We're about quality over quantity."

The only reasonable answer to that is the consideration that both the AP poll and the Coaches Poll in 1980 awarded a title,

Why is the Florida football thread making me realize I forgot the name of the LSU second baseman who hit a more dramatic (Championship-winning 2-out bottom-of-the-ninth while training) home run than has ever been hit in major league baseball history?

was playing in a tournament about a mile from my house that day.
me and couple dudes hauled ass to house between our games to watch.

walked in just in time to see Lanier walking back to dugout after striking out for the 2nd out.

only pitch of that game we saw live was that first pitch slider that Morris launched into the history books.

was EPIC!!!
