Muschamp is as good as gone. Hell even Zook didn't lose to FCS teams.
Don't know how much to believe this...

I don't know how a coach survives losing to a middle-of-the-road FCS team. I don't know how you bounce back from that...at all. One mitigating factor might be that UF has been decimated by injuries this year. I think they've lost 9 players to season ending injuries, and 20 starters have missed starts. That's a helluva lot. No excuse for losing to an FCS team, though. Florida's third string should be able to run an FCS school. But, Mushchamp was handpicked by Foley, and I think that might be the only thing that saves him. Because Foley doesn't want to admit such a failure after three years. Who knows. If they show some fight against FSU, maybe that's enough to keep him around. If they lose like 63-7...I don't see how he can possibly be brought back.

I was one willing to give Muschamp a pass due to the injury angle too, but Ga. Southern has lost 19 scholarship players to injuries since the start of spring ball, and as an FCS school they only had 63 to begin with. That's 44 active scholarship players before you even get to the injury scratches for "coach's decision," or "gametime decision," plus the players that aren't ready to play. In essence, Ga Southern beat Florida without enough players to even fill out a two-deep unless they were penciling in names of walk-ons.

Holy shit. 20 less scholarship players and they'd be approaching PSU!

Fucking amazing, when you consider the two mediocre teams that met in that bowl game 2 years ago. We haven't lost a game since...they just lost to Georgia...Southern. I wonder if there has ever been that kind of divergence after a bowl game like that.
