Hard to believe with their instate recruiting base that UF could struggle.
And how atrocious their QB recruiting, in specific, has been.

Drizzle was a 5* recruit. He's just been a massive flop. Whether that's a talent thing, or a coaching thing, I'm not sure. Given the overall performance of their offense under Muschamp, I'd lean towards the latter. And how atrocious their QB recruiting, in specific, has been.

Seems like a pipe dream to me given they're one year off of a BCS-berth and have been plagued by injuries. I think he's on the hot seast next year, though.
Oh, I agree 100%. I think he's one of those "excellent coordinator, lousy CEO" types. I just have a hard time seeing UF canning him after three years. Gonna be hard to convince anybody to take that job if the previous guy only got 3 years and was fired a year removed from a BCS-berth.I understand that coaches sometimes need a few years. The problem is he took a program that was in great shape, with the previous 4+ years bringing in top recruits, and isnt doing a lot with them. Yes, Sugar Bowl last year, but there were a lot of uncomfortable wins where he was not the better team. Then it was capped by a very uninspired performance and he was drastically outcoached by an inferior team. It seems he really struggles with motivation. The team on a regular basis doesnt play inspired, and the recruiting dropped off a little. One of those situations where the school brand and location will get him a high quality class, but i dont think he is adding anything. He should get them to a lot of 10-3 seasons, but that is about it.

Tyler Moore out for rest of season
Florida starting offensive tackle Tyler Moore is out for the season after suffering a compound fracture in his right elbow in a scooter accident.
Coach Will Muschamp said Wednesday that Moore, a third-year sophomore who transferred from Nebraska, crashed while driving home from practice Tuesday night and had surgery to repair the injury. It's unclear how long he will be sidelined.
Moore is the ninth Florida player -- including five starters -- lost for the season. The list includes quarterback Jeff Driskel, defensive tackle Dominique Easley, running back Matt Jones, right tackle Chaz Green and kick returner Andre Debose.
The Gators (4-4, 3-3 SEC) also are without starting left tackle D.J. Humphries, who will miss his second straight game with a sprained knee.
Cont'd ...

I may be completely SEC stoopid, but I think the Gators have a shot at knocking off Free Shoes next week. This is turning into a classic trap game, a grossly underperforming team with a decent amount of talent on the roster and nothing to lose knocks off a team that believes the myth of their own invincibility. Stranger things have happened.
Agreed. To actually have a shot at an upset you have to have some bullets to fire and hang around. Florida has no ammo. None.Or he could lose to Georgia Southern and make it easy for them. Holy [Mark May].
Not that strange. They just lost to a mediocre FCS team that did not complete a single pass the entire game, gave them a 2 turnover advantage and missed two extra points. They have checked out and are physically/morally defeated. If they keep it within 30, it'll be a borderline miracle. THey have less of a shot than any of dickrod's scUM teams had of beating tOSU.
