Tebow is the Pete Johnson of the decade. Harvin makes the big plays. Tebow finishes them off.

jazzman;1581783; said:My only concern about this game is what is the SEC gonna do about this dirty play by Brandon Spikes trying to gouge out UGA RB, Washeun Ealey's eyes? Urban Meyer will probably give him a pat on the back for it and say "well done!"

If this were Kurt Coleman, the Big Ten probably would have banned him for the season.
I have read a lot about Urban's moral character. Nothing about yours. But your ignorant opinion is duly notedjazzman;1581970; said:More on that ridiculous eye-gouging incident. I am glad that it is coming up in the media otherwise I am sure some one like Urban Meyer would conveniently look the other way.

The incident was news to coach Urban Meyer on Sunday during a conference call with reporters.
"If that's the case, I'll have a very serious talk with him," Meyer said.
The SEC was to review the play Monday, spokesman Charles Bloom told ESPN.com's Pat Forde.

I don't condone it. But it was a dirty game on both sides. "chippy", as it were. You may not have heard, but the ref took both Tebow and a mutt aside at halftime and told them to tell both sides to knock it off. Tebow was eye gouged. They brought cheap late backside crap at Spikes all day. Spikes helmet was ripped off and he was head butted by another poodle. All day long it was an ugly dirty war against a team that hates us and we hate them.Bucklion;1581972; said:Oooohhhh...Urban is going to have a "very serious talk" with him. Well, thank God he just bypassed the strongly worded letter![]()
jazzman;1581975; said:So you have "read" a lot about Urban's moral character huh? What do you think he is gonna do in this instance? The fact that he did not even know of the eye-gouging incident to me is more than a little disturbing.
I'm well aware that ish happens down there, especially when it's getting ugly.If you think that no Buckeyes would do that in a game with Penn State when the nits were all in on dirty play, then I think that you are dreaming.
What's that saying about assumptions? And if Lil animal were caught in the same deal, if you think Tress would bench him for it in that situation, I think that you would be dead wrong
I assumed it was a postgame comment. There's no chance they didn't know about the incident by Sunday, ubet.He breaks down the offensive tape with Coach A. Urbs does the special teams. Strong breaks down the defense. It is just possible that he spent some time from late Saturday after the game and Sunday doing his show and having his Sunday press deal that he had no time to check in on the Dawgvent or BP to check out youtube clips. I mean, that is possible.![]()
Personally, I think that Spikes was just trying to wipe away the guy's tears in that losing effort. Kudos for sportsmanship to him.FCollinsBuckeye;1581990; said:C'mon, guys - Meyer is not stupid. If he looks too closely at the Spikes incident, he may get his eyes gouged out.
:p
What reason is there to cry? Don't they share in your SEC victory?Gatorubet;1582001; said:Personally, I think that Spikes was just trying to wipe away the guy's tears in that losing effort. Kudos for sportsmanship to him.![]()
