Florida 41, Georgia 17 (final)

I'm somewhat surprised at this spread. UF hasn't exactly been lighting up the scoreboard as they usually do, at least against good teams. But UGa continues to underperform. Still, 15.5???

I think it's based on the Dawgs penchant for turning the ball over. Florida has put the ball on the ground quite a bit in recent weeks - but it's been nullified by their ability to take the ball away.

I haven't seen a recent stat - but I think Georgia was -9 in turnover differential for the season (I could be way off). If they do it on Saturday - it's good for at least 7 points and perhaps a defensive score.

UGA's best shot is to get into a kicking/punting/field position war with Florida. For all the teams faults - kicking and punting have been excellent this year. Walsh has been terrific at FG's and Butler averages 10 more yrds per punt than the UF punter.

As much as I hate to admit it - a little bit of "Tressel Ball" might be good medicine for the boys in Red and Black this weekend.

If UGA comes out like they did last week, I'll be turning this one off after a quarter. I'd love to bet the Dawgs here but too many intangibles going the other way. Same with betting Florida.

The leading local Atlanta news radio statio (WSB 750) has been running 30 second morning spots advertising the WLOCP this week. The station is also the flagship station for Dawgs broadcasts and is decidely pro-UGA.

I listen to it on the way to work each morning and their 30 second spots are essentially talking to people who've been down in Jacksonville since Tuesday partying. Each person sounds more blacked out than the next and everyone is slurring speech, talking about how much fun they are having and aggressively hating on UGA D-Coordinator Willie Martinez

If I can get some soundbites - I'll post them. I love this weekend!

SCUM-Illinois is at the same time as this game. Florida + SCUM = Two teams I really, really love to watch lose. I hope they both do, and I'll be tuning in to this one unless Florida look like they have it, in which case I will watch the SCUMmers get Zooked and Dickrod melting down on the sideline!

Yep. I think Georgia's best bet is TresselBall and hope Tebow makes mistakes. He's already quite frustrated I imagine; just hope he gets impatient and tries to do too much, get a defensive score, and Florida will be in trouble.
