I think Pearl could be better at developing yes. Matta isn't that great at developing players up through the system, he is not a great in game coach either. He is a fantastic recruiter who could do a better job getting more out of a lot of the guys he recruits. Or are you ok with having no post presence despite having 2 highly rated post players?

As for integrity, are you telling me then that nobody should ever hire Jim Tressel as a coach again in football? Because he made a mistake, yet doesn't define him.

Is Pearl better at developing talent? I have no idea. Is he more likely to bring a black mark on the reputation of the university? Absolutely.
Should Tressel ever be hired again as a football coach? Again, I don't know. Should he have been fired when he was and never considered to coach at tOSU again? Asolutely.
