I read the entire post. But generally when the opening sentence is "I'm a complete idiot and am going to prove it in this post," what comes next really doesn't matter. I'm sure most of you will agree, it's time for HOLYBUCKEYE10 to go. That or make posts that aren't colossally fucking stupid.

What does that have to do with anything? I rarely come to this site anymore. Great for information, terrible for discussion because of hypocrisy and crap like the responses I received. About 90% of you just form your little clique and spew hate when someone disagrees. Not to mention a lot of you are blind OSU fans that think we are the supreme leader and can't do wrong or improve. People like a lot of the ones who responded to me are the reason OSU fans get bad rap. Anytime I try and give this site another chance, the leaders involved and their little merry band of followers remind me why it's not as good as it could be.

Then go the fuck away. You disappear for almost two years, then announce your return with a post calling for one of the winningest coaches in all of college basketball over the last decade to be let go and you then expect to be given the same amount of respect as people that post here regularly and contribute both intellectually and financially to the well-being of this site?

Gimme a goddamned break.

First off if you read my original post you see I suggested maybe some assistants be replaced. As for who would replace him, it doesn't matter because he won't be let go. I'm not saying he is a terrible coach, but the lack of talent produced lately is disturbing.

Well, you said Thad "at best is a decent coach." I'm not sure how much room there is between that statement and calling him terrible.

Regardless, Thad has been at OSU for ten years now and has won five conference titles, won the Big Ten Tournament four times (and made the finals another two times), been to the Final Four twice, and the Sweet Sixteen five times. The list of coaches who have accomplished as much in the last ten years is very, very short.

I'm Disappointed in the final result, but you are an idiot, in my IMHO if you want Thad to go. TerriIble year? Top half of the BIG regular season, won two games in the BIG tourney and made the NCAA. Some people are terribly spoiled.

People used to defend Jim Bollman too. Same with John Cooper, he had a ton of talent but had a tough time going real far with it compared to what Tressel did with his abilities. You can sit back and be ignorant and blind all you want, but you clearly can't see that some things need shaken up with the program. I just watched Matta get outcoached by his assistant... and Matta getting outcoached has happened a lot in the past few years... deny it all you want but it's obvious.

Oh I am sorry I missed where it was a law that I had to pay for this site. Here allow me to bow down to you right now. I will contribute financially when you guys stop with the hypocritical nonsense. So integrity and the reputation of the university mean absolutely nothing to you? Yeah, you should be in charge of the search committee. And you think Pearl's resume (aside from the shady dealings) is better than Matta's? Did you forget to get your prescription refilled?

I think Pearl could be better at developing yes. Matta isn't that great at developing players up through the system, he is not a great in game coach either. He is a fantastic recruiter who could do a better job getting more out of a lot of the guys he recruits. Or are you ok with having no post presence despite having 2 highly rated post players?

As for integrity, are you telling me then that nobody should ever hire Jim Tressel as a coach again in football? Because he made a mistake, yet doesn't define him.
