TP is kind of like VY in hs 1st year. Out of the pocket, he is dangerous running the ball. Not as much passing the ball. Keep him in the pocket and get pressure on him.

I like Jim Tressel's record against the Big 12, especially in bowl games...and his record in the Fiesta Bowl. This is going to be a fun month leading up to the game, and a great game. I know Colt McCoy isn't the same Colt McCoy the Buckeyes face in 2006...but we already beat him once

Just bought tickets to the game. Gonna be my 1st bowl game. I wish the game was this weekend. Going to be weird not having college football this coming Saturday.

And props to the Texas fans. I was at the game in the shoe a few years ago and you folks are a classy bunch. Very much looking forward to the rubber match in AZ!

You know I was kind of wondering the same thing. So, I popped over to look at the eligibility sorted roster. Seems to me they have a huge center class, and two relatively light classes at Junior and Senior level ('08 and possibly '09 departures).

Now, it could be that Scout is missing something, but surely not everything.

If anything, the Texas team that could be around next year, and the year after might end up being better than this one.

First of all, I'd like to say the copy/paste feature on BP is badass.

Second, Scout's not missing anything. There are only 9 guys left from the '04 class. And here's the 2005 class (all 15 of them):

Of those, only 10 are left. So from those two classes (Seniors and RS juniors), there's only 19 people. That's the main reason why most people (myself included) were expecting another 10-3 season this year. Everyone, including Mack, was pointing to 2009 as the year Texas would have a good chance at a title.

One of the main reasons this team seems to be playing over their heads though is that of those 10 guys left from the 2005 class, all but 1 are huge contributors this year, and most have played way better than their ranking.

Isn't every year supposed to be the year for tOSU's title run? It really seems that way...and that's a VERY good thing.

I'm not sure about 2012 yet...but until then, i'm thinking each year will be one.

Yeah I figured that..and Lord knows there will be plenty of that going on from the announcers calling the game. But I think Schwab has a very good idea about making it a drinking game.
