Fess up (again), who REALLY cost us the game?

My new big screen was delivered yesterday. After the loss, I told the wife it was jinxed and it had to go back. She talked me into waiting to see how my Bengals do tonite on it before I decide. I caved. We'll see.

I have to admit that it was me.

We are 3-0 this year when I watch the games alone.

We are 0-2 now when I watch it with other people.

For the rest of the season, nobody will be allowed at my house on Saturdays.

This shit happens to me all the time... going back to cooper era. tOSU haven't won in past 7 years...when I get together with my friends... so from NOW on... I am watching games alone.

I went to the Belterra Casino on the Ohio river and watched the game in a sports bar. At the time, I was up $250 after playing three hours of $2/$4 limit poker. After the travesty, I went back and promptly lost $150 of my winnings. It's my fault, because I wasn't in Cbus for the game. Although, the last time I wasn't in Cbus for a game, it was 2002 Purdue, with 4th and Jenkins. Maybe it isn't my fault.

its my fault (or my wife's fault) every time she makes plans so that i dont get to see any pregame stuff, we lose:

2005- Penn State (wedding and reception all day - walked in the door at my parents just at kick off)

2004 - Northwestern (wedding and birthday party all day - missed the kick off and the 1st play)

2004 - Iowa (lets have lunch with the InLaws - watched the game from BW3)

Boys, I'm sorry. It was all my fault.

1) It's the first game I wasn't able to watch at home (I was at a bonfire get-together and ended up watching it with a bunch of different people)

2) I didn't wear my jersey for the game (I wore an OSU sweatshirt & my buckeye necklace)

I had this weird feeling that it just wasn't "Right" to not be at home in my chair with a death-grip on a much-beaten-up OSU microbead pillow (so if I need something to throw, it's soft and won't cause damage)...It's like I wasn't setting aside the time to support my boys in their moment of need. The fault is mine.

Of course, superstition is a personal thing....:( But this is the time when we find out who the REAL fans are. Now they need our support more than ever. GO BUCKS!

It was my fault. I went to watch the game at my brother's place just like I did for the Texas game. I thought about going home at half time but noooooo I had to stay.

Oh and we're going to the IU game in Bloomington so if we shank that game then you'll know it's ALL my fault. And if we do loose that game I'll toss myself off the top of assembly hall . . . not because I'm bad luck for OSU but because we will have lost to IU!
