Fess up (again), who REALLY cost us the game?

man 109K fans screaming harder than they ever have.....USC i dont think would win this game.....i think that was the factor tonight,

if we were playing in stadium that doesnt seet 100k plus, troy would have heard hamby say, LOOK OUT

i think when your in a game this big, at night, you kinda forget what you want to do, we stopped running the ball early...and that obviously isnt a good sign...i also thought there were way too many sacks...i like the option pass though, even though it only worked like 2wice, i still like that we were using the WRs speed, aslo, i dont think gonzo had a catch, dont ask me why??

My roommate from last year went to the game. Every away game he has been to we lost. Wisconsin and Michigan in '03, NW, Purdue, and now Penn State. Had I taken his ticket instead, we would have won, as my on-the-road record is a sterling 1-0 with a win against PSU in '03. I can no longer rely on the #7 jersey to bring in the W's. My #47 jersey suffered the Wisconsin and Texas losses, but picked up the unbelieveable good karma from the Michigan win. So I'm torn as to what my game "uniform" is. Maybe I should screw this whole karma crap and get a #10 jersey, just so I can say "Fuck you karma, I'm gonna buy this jersey cause I want to!"

it was my mother in laws fault.... she's in town and everytime I watch a game with her the Buckeyes lose. I would have gone to the bar to watch but my wife had to work and she wouldn't watch the kids alone... BITCH!!

It might be my mother-in-law's fault because she told me I was too educated to believe in lucky shirts and changed the baby .... the second time this season she has pulled this crap (and, coincidentally, the second time she has been in the same building as me when the game is on).

After the game, I told her that she won't be seeing her granddaughter on Saturdays that OSU plays -- ever -- because she can't be trusted.

It is my fault. I had more company over last night than usual, which resulted in the living room being over crowded and I was not able to sit in my favorite seat. Also, while watching GameDay in the morning, my girlfriend served me a cup of coffee in my "bad luck" Ohio State mug (I'm pretty certain I have two "good luck" OSU mugs and one "bad luck" one).

Really though, there is a bigger issue here, and a very serious one that I'm reluctant to mention. I may have single-handedly doomed both Ted Ginn Jr and Ohio State to mediocrity. I bought a #7 jersey this summer, and well ... look what I've done to TGII now. :(

I'm serious. I bought a Cal Ripken jersey at Camden Yards. I bought a Jagr jersey back when he was dominating the NHL in Pitt. I bought a Manny jersey. No team for which I've ever bought a jersey has been past one round of playoffs, or been in the playoffs at all, after I buy their apparel.

I realized this last night, so told my girlfriend I wanted a Michigan jersey for Christmas.

This is the second time this season that I have gone North of Columbus on the road on a game day, when it was a night game. Both games we lost. I sense a trend.

:osu: I know the Buckeyes still have plenty of problems to solve- most teams do but you have to give PSU credit...they brought thier best game, the crowd, the field conditions, both teams played on but how many teams could have got out of there with a win, last light? 2? 10? ?? It reminds me of the Wisky game, a couple years ago - week off, away game, rainy, fired up crowd. Damn shame!

I am totally to blame for this...

Bucks have lost 0 games this year and last when I go to a bar
Bucks have not won a game in 2 years when I watch at home

Freinds I will go to a bar the rest of the year!!!!

The bye weeks just aren't good for this team. The 1-4 record under Tressel should make it painfully obvious. The last three have been on the road and at night (two in sloppy, rainy conditions), which is about the only way those teams could've beat us. I doubt we'll see many bye weeks in future schedules (us plugging in Bowling Green in the middle of the Big Ten season next year shows that).

That's exactly the kind of heroic spirit of sacrifice that the Buckeye Planet needs! I mean, we ain't all gonna go out and go that far, but I mean, hey, you are like gonna be out there on the edge of that fear factor shit, just for us. Man, that's heroic.

Just remember man, don't look in the mirror, don't look in the mirror. That would have to lead to like years of some kinda professional help, or something!:wink2:
