Boro...its all good, no problem here.....whoever gave me a negative hit, took 61 points in one click of the button.Re-reading your post with the understanding that you hadn't yet read the article I see where you were coming from.

We do numerous hours of community outreach. People make bad decisions in life. It’s how you bounce back from that. That’s what is important.”
you'd think this would factor into espin's thinking in the future...* The national television broadcast of the 2004 Alamo Bowl earned a 4.25 rating making it the second highest-rated college football game of the season on ESPN. The rating translates into a viewership of six million ranking it as the No. 12 most-watched bowl game in ESPN history. Over the last 10 years, the Alamo Bowl has produced six of the top 15 most-watched bowl games in ESPN history.
you dont think they have thought about it already? they pulled all that shit and 6 million people watched them slam OSU. i think they knew exactly what they were doing.you'd think this would factor into espin's thinking in the future...
I just cant figure why ESPN would make OSU such targets. Im not saying its not true, but I just can't figure why it would be OSU or how does it benefit them? Maybe because it gives them a continuing, ongoing story to fill their slots? I dunno....BuckeyeNation27 said:you dont think they have thought about it already? they pulled all that **** and 6 million people watched them slam OSU. i think they knew exactly what they were doing.
its because clarett dropped the story in their laps. had clarett gone to any other school, then pulled his shit and run to espin, they would be the team under the scope and we would all be here chastising that school.I just cant figure why ESPN would make OSU such targets. Yes, but they also understood what these numbers say. If Clarett was at Ohio University or Bowling Green, this would have been a one week story. They've spent a lot of money trying to dig up stuff.BuckeyeNation27 said:its because clarett dropped the story in their laps. had clarett gone to any other school, then pulled his shit and run to espin, they would be the team under the scope and we would all be here chastising that school.
i highly doubt the espin heads sat around trying to think up ways to destroy OSU. the "story" came up and bit them on the ass.
Goddamned liberal Trev Alberts, I knew he was speaking with an accent to mask his real identity.DEBuckeye said:Pardon the politics on the football board, but the liberal media can't stand it when a good, solid, conservative guy like Tressel gets successful and gains some national noteriety.
It's like- "Wait a minute; being a good conservative person can't possibly work, can it? We can't let him succeed- we must bring him down to our level."

Did you make it clear who you were calling a 'homo'?Naplesbuckeye said:Last night they had a deal where the commemerated (spelling) past Orange Bowl athletes and coaches. Among them were Barry Switzer, Leroy Selmon, Johnny Rodgers, Steve Spurrier and fricken Trev.
I stood up and was screaming fuck you you homo and other bright sayings....some mom repremanded me for my language around her children but it was worth getting off my chest.
