Really? I think the writing and continuity on HIMYM are amazingly good compared to most sitcoms. I also find the subtle throw-away jokes and looks they use laugh-out-loud funny, which is rare for me in a sitcom. That's why I put it in the same category as The Office and Earl.

The acting makes me sick to my stomach. Some of the worst I've seen for a primetime tv show. I agree, the writing is decent. It's just the acting that's horrible thus making it a bad show, IMO.

Did anyone ever watch this old TV show from the 70's or remember it being on? It is called Bigfoot and Wildboy. I found a link to it on a web site today and it reminded me that I watched this as a kid. It was really weird.

The clip is funny to watch even if you have no idea about the show, and the theme song is a classic 70's theme.
