i saw the other one of the two.. it was not as good as the other.. dont know which is man v wild or surviorman.. one was very unrealistic
Survivor Man has a guy that does all of his camera work and does the survival stuff. I've seen a couple of those and Man vs. Wild. Survivor Man seems to have more supplies to start out with. In Man vs. Wild he pretty much just has his knife with him, and has to make due with just about everything else.

My Name is Earl
Everybody Hates Chris
House
Mythbusters
The Office
Lost

Rules of Engagement is making its way onto my list. For whatever reason, Patrick Warburton (aka Joe Swanson, aka The Tick, aka Brock Samson, aka Evil Johnny from NewsRadio) cracks me up. Nobody else on the show is even remotely amusing, though.

If I remember right, the camera situation is the other way around. Survivorman does ALL OF HIS OWN camera work which is why the cinemography isn't as good in his show. Man vs Wild has 1/2 cameramen with him plus has a Survival Expert consultant. Survivorman flies solely on his own accord. Although he does start off with a few more supplies, it's general nothing extraordinary.

Survivorman is better in IMO.

These are the shows we (wife and I) watch every week:

Heroes
Boston Legal
CSI
Law & Order: SVU
Las Vegas
Ghost Whisperer
Grey's Anatomy
Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip

When Entourage is on I never miss it, along with Sopranos. Also, I can't wait until the next season of Deadliest Catch. I love that show.

With my wife, I'll watch

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
Heroes
NCIS
House
American Idol (both nights)
Survivor
Ghost Whisperer

She's slowly getting me into Criminal Minds

I just found out recently that one of my all time fav's is finally being released on DVD sometime in March.

WKRP in Cincinnati

One of the funniest sitcoms ever. There have always been royalty and licensing issues with all of the music they played in the episodes, so hopefully they have worked it out and it won't be dubbed over or changed.

:groove:

I grew up watching WKRP reruns and taped shows my parents had taped on their old Betamax.....frikin NICE

Right...like I said. AND does the survival stuff. Survivor Man is the name of the show, in my post, not the name of the guy.

Two totally different shows, IMO.

The only difference is that Scrubs is great, while Grey's sucks.

Scrubs is more of a comedy, yes. But, it also has much deeper meaning and overriding themes in just about every episode. Which is where Grey's basically copied the same format from. They've pretty much taken the exact same Scrub's plotlines and made them more "dramatic" (ie. more crying and relationship twists).

It was funny when Scrubs made fun of both Grey's and House in two episodes for making entire shows off their characters/stories.

FWIW, Dr. Cox > Dr. House :p
