I like weeds a lot... As you said..REALLY fucked up but I find it entertaining.
I saw Dexter a couple of times and really like that
Entourage, saw a couple episodes and I like it
House - Not sure if it is still on or just reruns

The only show I can say I look to watch every week is Lost.

I see Hero's and Criminal Minds listed a lot and never heard of these shows, I am going to download some episodes.

I didn't care for The Office much at first, but it's definitely growing on me.

We are also watching Weeds. It's really fucked up and wrong, but it's good! :p

I like Weeds too... a co-worker turned me onto the show. I'm considering starting my own grow house thanks to that show :p

The only shows I watch on a regular basis are "The Sopranos", "Entourage", "The Office" and "House".

I love "The Office" because each character on that show is exactly like somebody I work with. It's fucking eerie. Plus it's the only show on network TV that actually makes me laugh out loud. The intro to the show a couple months back where Jim came in dressed like and imitating Dwight was fucking hilarious.

Jim: "Bears. Beats. Battlestar Gallactica".
Dwight: "Hey, wait a minute! What's going on here?!?!
Jim: "Michael!!"
Dwight: "Michael!!":slappy:

I also liked "Big Love" on HBO and am looking forward to that coming back.

I watch the office too for the reasons you state, it is hilarious.
If you work with someone who reminds you of a person on the show, then which one are you? dare I ask if it is Dwight ?

How I met your mother
The office
2 1/2 men
Earl
The unit

Dwight is a Capt. I work with...to the tee. Same glasses, same attitude, carries a briefcase, same mannerisms...it's freaky.

If anybody, I'd probably be Jim, just because I like to fuck with people.

Last week's Jim-Dwight exchange was priceless:

Jim: Oh, what?s this?
Dwight: That is a demerit.
Jim (reading paper): ?Jim Halpert, tardiness.? Oh, I love it already.
Dwight: You?ve got to learn, Jim, you?re second in command, but that does not put you above the law.
Jim: Oh I understand. And, I also have lots of questions. Like what does a demerit mean?
Dwight: Let?s put it this way. You do not want to receive three of those.
Jim: Lay it on me.
Dwight: Three demerits, and you?ll receive a citation.
Jim: Now that sounds serious.
Dwight: Oh it is serious. Five citations, and you?re looking at a violation. Four of those, and you?ll receive a verbal warning. Keep it up, and you?re looking at a written warning. Two of those, that?ll land you in a world of hurt. In the form of a disciplinary review, written up by me and placed on the desk of my immediate superior.
Jim: Which would be me.
Dwight: That is correct.
Jim: Okay, I want a copy on my desk, by the end of the day, or you will receive a full disadulation.
Dwight: What?s a dis ? what?s that?
Jim: Oh, you don?t want to know.

Really? I think the writing and continuity on HIMYM are amazingly good compared to most sitcoms. I also find the subtle throw-away jokes and looks they use laugh-out-loud funny, which is rare for me in a sitcom. That's why I put it in the same category as The Office and Earl.

I take it back. I think the stink of CBS' other sitcom Two and a Half Men influenced my opinion. HIMYM is really good.

Did anyone ever watch this old TV show from the 70's or remember it being on? It is called Bigfoot and Wildboy. I found a link to it on a web site today and it reminded me that I watched this as a kid. It was really weird.

The clip is funny to watch even if you have no idea about the show, and the theme song is a classic 70's theme.

Was that anything like Sugarfoot? Sing the theme song of Sugarfoot along with me.
