I was starving about 11:30pm a few nights ago, and there is a Taco Bell within spitting distance from my new place. I really don't like their food, but I was really damn hungry. I am with NFBuck about the chilli cheese burritos (or Chilitos as they were once called), but they are not on the menu down here. I tried that new 99 cent Beefy Nacho Burrito thing, and I think I found another Taco Bell item I actually like.

Munchies, and large portions of the country lacking real mexican food.

If you read the article I linked, they are coming out with a Cool Ranch Dorito shell in the fall and a Spicy Taco shell after that.

Also said they are experimenting with breakfast foods on the west coast and offering finer toppings like cilantro, peppers, etc...
