did your article say where they are trying the "finer toppings", someplace out west, and Kentucky.... Really, Kentucky? They know all about "finer foods"

Six-Story Building Approved for South Campus Taco Bell Site

After many months of design reviews, Skip Weiler and David Ruma’s proposal to redevelop the Taco Bell site at 1525 North High Street was approved last night by the University Area Review Board. The new plan boasts a smaller unit and bed count, but retains the same number of parking spaces as the previous proposal.

The approved building will be six stories tall and will feature 95 apartments (containing 147 beds), a 116-space parking garage, and 7,000 square feet of ground floor commercial space, with a new Taco Bell taking up the southern corner. Two levels of the parking garage, which will be accessed from the alley, will be underground.

I have ordered the same thing since high school: 2 soft tacos, one soft taco supreme, and one chilito. the chilito was cancelled for a while when Taco Bell realized it was slang for penis, but was eventually brought back as the chile cheese burrito. Oh, two fire sauce packets for all but the soft taco supreme.

Damn, that's all you eat there? Granted, I'm a big guy, but I always get at least six items per visit.

About time! Last time I was there, one of the employees' sister had brought her kids in to see their mom since they were sick, and the mom proceeded to inspect the half-naked kid for chicken-pox right on the service counter... and they continued to serve food right there on the counter without ever wiping it down. I left without taking the food I had paid for.

That's actually a better story than the litany of police brutality, fights, gunfire, and general bobily fluids (in the parking lot) I've witnessed there.
