Favorite photos you've taken

I am curious though, I had a magnifying (there is a better fancier term for this) lens for my camera, did you use one? Your pictures don't lose the depth of field on close shots. . . Just guessing.

That red tail hawk photo is amazing, @Fungo Squiggly! If that was taken in the field, I want to know how you pulled that off. Also, that fireworks shot is pretty darn awesome. I've never done the close up shots of them, but those shorter exposures look better for those kinds of shots I think.

BTW, I met a girl on Tinder, and all went well. After a few drinks at the bar and back at her place, she wouldn't let me foot-fuck her due to my foot herpes. I tried to explain, rationally, that foot herpes was not communicable to genital herpes per recent foot-fucking studies, but no dice.

Oh well, her loss.

Yep. The birds, butterflies, and spider were all taken with a 70-300 lens. The sunrises & Faberge Egg were both with the 18-55 Canon kit lens.

I wish that hawk was in the field....it's a rehab bird down at Caesar's Creek SP. In one of @jwinslow's edits, the shadows from the wire cage are a lot more visible.

I was making it up as I went with the fireworks. I've got a whole slew of tremendously shitty ones before I started to get a feel for what settings I wanted. Odds are very good that I will have forgotten it all by next July.
