Under Armor is the Dockers of athletic wear. I can't buy it because the commercials are so frickin' annoying. Click-clack this motherfu.....
For general athletic clothing, nothing beats an old, thick reverse weave Champion sweatshirt.
For actually working out, I've come to really like the Nike dry-fit t-shirts.

I like Nike for most things, but Under Armor is good for football gear. Their long-sleeve cold gear is great, short sleeve stuff is pretty good, and then I've always had good luck with their football gloves, though I would never wear them for more than one season, if that.
