Tarzan Boy by Baltimora
Rock Me Amadeus by Falco
I Know Something is Going On by Frida
Send Me an Angel by ? Real Life
that song playing during Rocky IV when Rocky is driving and remembering Apollo's death.

Hard Times - Run DMC
You know I'm a Ho - Whodini

not sure what album that is from, but I remember my older(8yrs) brother giving me a Run DMC tape, Raising Hell, and my mother raising some hell of her own. I couldn't have been more than ten or so. That album, and Beastie Boys, license to Ill, along with Biz Markie made rap music one of my favorites.

seriously, they were called taco? wow.

Taco was a guy, not a group.

Although I'm a classic rock and Motown type of guy, I like many of the songs mentioned:

Tarzan Boy - Baltimora
Rock Me Amadeus - Falco
Puttin' on the Ritz - Taco

I also like:

Jesse's Girl - Rick Springfield
Cars - Gary Neuman
Every Breath You Take - The Police
Whisper to a Scream - Icsicle Works
The Promise - When in Rome
Somebody's Watching Me - Rockwell
(You Can Still) Rock in America - Night Ranger
Alive and Kickin' - Simple Minds
Mexican Radio - Wall of Voodoo
Everybody Wants to Rule the World - Tears for Fears

Lots of others...

People blamed the casette recorder for low record sales in the eighties. The truth is bad music was to blame for low record sales in the eighties."

Cant say I agree with Bono very often, but I gotta agree with him here. My lord did I hate music in the 80's. It improved so much in the 90's, cept for rap becoming popular. Only thing worth a shit in the 80's was Halen, and some of the metal (Metallica, Megadeth, Maiden, etc.)
