"Take Me Home Tonight"
"Jesse's Girl"
Anything Aerosmith or Bon Jovi

...way too many to list...I'm an 80's nut although I admit that it was quite a low for music quality overall...songs were simplistic, catchy, and repetitive

ELECTRIC AVENUE- EDDIE GRANT
ALL OF THEM, I LOVE EIGHTIES MUSIC, SHHHHH.

Agree 100%. Everytime I hear many of those songs I flash back to the old roller-skating halls back home. Ah, the old days

Electric Avenue brings back some funny memories too. We had a jukebox in our high school cafeteria. The administration would let people bring in their own records. My best friend brought in Electric Avenue. Well, we also had some mainstream kids in our school and there was this one kid who loved the song. He would load the jukebox up with quarters and just play the thing over and over. I think the administration had to remove the record after a few weeks because it was played so much.

Naked Eyes - Always Something There To Remind Me
Madness - Our House
Thomas Dolby - She Blinded Me with Science
Quiet Riot - Cum On Feel the Noize
Tubes - She's a Beauty (One in a Million)

The period from '83 - '84 had the greatest one hit wonders.

Queensryche - Take Hold of the Flame
Dream Theater - A Matter of Time
Rush - The Body Electric
Fate's Warning - The Apparition

While technically all of those are from the 80's, I don't think they are this thread's target.

I could ramble about Obituary, Corrosion of Conformity, DRI, Iron Maiden, Dio....

They aren't really 80's music.

Why hasn't anybody mentioned Michael Jackson?

Thriller was a pretty good album, and it's not like the guy has gone all weird trying to turn into a white Diana Ross while sleeping with young boys and holding his own baby off a balcony in Berlin or anything.

OK, I take that back.

Beat It, Billie Jean, and Thriller all sucked ass big time. :wink2:
