Lots of ADP's have me landing Jamal Charles - who I just don't think will see the ball a ton in Andy Reid's slap happy passing offense.
I think it's worth it to try and move down to #7 and hopefully flop picks in a later round.

and since people are posting their FF credentials, I've won my league 3 of the last 4 years and finished runner up the other year. but that is a league where qb play is weighted equally with rb play, making qb's far more important.
tsteele316;2362970; said:reid's offense isn't that pass happy. and even so, charles will get a ton more receptions out of the backfield. look what reid's offense with two good wr's in jackson and maclin, and a decent TE in Celek, along with scrambling Vick did for Shady Mccoy 2 years ago.

Bucklion;2363075; said:Personally I would say that QBs are deeper than RBs, no matter how they are scored (in terms of offering advice to the original poster). There is a steep cutoff with QBs too (After Brady, Manning, Brees, Rodgers, etc.) but you can get a guy who throws for 3500 yards and 25 TDs easily (assuming they play all season). Of course the difference is that RBs aren't the value they were in the late 90s and early 00s either as the league has gone full pass retard, but if you can get a guy that stays on the field a lot, take him.
That said, I would still stand by not overpaying (overdrafting) medicore RBs. I see at least one person in every league do it every year. I think a guy like Spiller is a great player, but not only is he injury-prone but they have a popular and experienced veteran (Jackson) behind him, so he won't be on the field as much as an every down, 25-30 carry guy is. I watched a few Buffalo games last year and Spiller took multiple series off (or was given them off), so there were a few games that if he didn't break a big one his numbers sucked because he had somewhat limited touches. Same thing with Sproles, Stephen Jackson in Atlanta, etc.
tsteele316;2363085; said:of course, that was last year, before fred jackson's 2nd debilitating leg injury, and he's now 32. i would expect spiller to get the majority of all carries as a close to a feature back as possible.
