Fantasy Football Advice

I want to say Floyd.

Arizona's offense is terrible. To the point they might not even be able to lean on their running game without seeing 8 & 9 in the box.

LaMichael has only now started getting touches. Boldin has Flacco as his QB. Feast or famine.

Chargers coming off a big win in Pittsburgh - confidence, plus against Carolina after the Panthers make the trek to the east coast.

Flex spot- McFadden vs the Chiefs or Maclin vs the Bengals tonight?

Leaning McFadden since the Chiefs aren't very good against the run & the Bengals are pretty good against the pass....not to mention all of the attention should be on Maclin with the rest of the Philly weapons out.

Thoughts?

I have two very tough matchups this week, my one lineup is set (crosses fingers Roddy White is good to go!)

the other team is an absolute mess with injuries:

I'm starting Arian, but the 2nd spot is soooo scary:
Montell Owens or Tate (L. McCoy killed me). I'm leaning heavily towards Owens, but I have a feeling Tate will get a decent amount of carries. Arian hasn't been great the last 3-4 weeks in terms of yardage.

WR: I'm starting Dez or Britt (sat Maclin) - don't feel good about either. It's probably Dez unless there's some bad news. Normally I'd put Bowe in with the matchup in this scenario, but.... IR.

Basically, I'm dead unless NO has another bad day. This guy killed me earlier in the year because the saints went off, he has Brees, Morgan, and Sproles against Tampa. Damn. Not to mention AJ Green and Doug Martin.

Well, it will take a miracle for me to win the standard league, other guy also has (in addition to all the Saints and AJ Green), the Cincinnati defense which has (at this point) 22 points. Plenty of time left for 3 or 4 more Philly turnovers.

Great job Philly, 4 turnovers in 5 plays. That's got to be some kind of record.:smash:

I sat Cincy's defense & started San Diego's. Opponent started Houston's.
I bow out in the semi-finals. Son of a bitch.

I'd like to say a few words.

Drew Brees went. the fuck. off. A totally wasted performance today. I'm sorry friend. You've had some ups and downs - but you always came through when I needed you most. Especially in prime time.

Brandon Marshall - its been real. Only the 2nd season I've had you on my roster. Its been the best from just about any WR I can think of.

Trent - I hope I get you next year. Thinking about making you my keeper.
Jimmy Graham - You didn't sneak up on anybody this year. Get healthy and maybe we'll make some magic happen in 2013.

Danario - I thought you were as good as dead when St. Louis cut you. Clearly its a health issue and not a talent issue. Hopefully you get stable and a QB that doesn't have more turnovers then Pilsbury. I look forward to you being a sleeper next year.

Josh Gordon - I picked you up in week 5. I hope you get a QB as well. It was so badass having a WR in fantasy from the Browns roster that could get me points. Reminded me to have some pride in my team at one point.

Aaron Rodgers - you weren't on my team. I played you once this year. And you had to drop 5 TD's with 3 40+ yard passes in a brilliant Monday Night display. I hope you wake up with a huge dick in your mouth because you cost me my #1 overall seed.

2012 has been a shitty year for me. Personally & professionally. But fantasy helped get me through these past few months. I fell only 11 points short of going to the 'Ship. So, only one thing to do next year. Come back stronger. Come back for the whole....fucking...thing.

I"m out. Good luck to all you players who are still fighting for your playoff lives.

Odd change in fortune for me.

I end up taking the Standard league semi finals 95-91 due to Julio Jones going nuts. That's with Peyton's measley 12 points and Denario Alexander Blanking. Seattle defense saves the day, again!

In my PPR league I ALSO take the semifinals, get this:

93-92 (god I hope there's no scoring corrections!)
I get a combined 3 points out of my receivers, plus Doug Martin's flop. How in the hell I pulled this one out also blows my mind. I was glued to the Dallas/Steelers game. Opponent had Steeler's defense and Witten. Going late in the fourth if witten made 1 catch and 13 yards I was done. He made the catch, but only got 6 or 7 yards. Then the game goes to overtime and I was sweating bullets.

Btw, I went against Brees in both leagues. Insane, I had no business winning these matchups. They both came down by getting big points from defense and kickers. (Seattle and Denver)

So I squeak by both semifinals with a combined margin of 5 points. What a day!

In the Championship for my league (PPR; 2 week matchups in the playoffs) & currently up 24 points.

Definite starters:
QB- Brady
RBs- Charles, McFadden
Flex- Green-Ellis
TE- Clark
D- 49ers
K- Bailey

Need help with my WRs.....Have Julio Jones, Harry Douglas, Maclin, Avant, Santana Moss & Josh Gordon. Worried about starting Jones, since he probably won't get much clock. Maclin is banged up & hasn't practiced since hurting his knee earlier in the week. That leaves Douglas, Avant, Moss & Gordon. Not thrilled with any of their matchups but currently leaning Douglas & Avant. Thoughts?
