Fantasy Football Advice

Yea, in my PPR league I had Ryan, White, Graham, and Bryant starting.

Bryant nearly outscored all of them combined by himself. I need the other guys to have a huge night so I can have the best record by myself.

In the other league I was desperate for a RB so I started Quizz. 3 points against NO. Sheesh. I also had Julio, another 5 points.

I can't believe how much that game sucked.

Lost week 1 & haven't lost since, so this week doesn't make a difference really, but.....

PPR league
RBs (start 2)- McFadden, Charles, Green-Ellis, Reece
WRs (start 1; Julio already played)- Malcom Floyd, Dwayne Bowe, Josh Gordon, Kendall Wright & Santana Moss
Flex (start 1 of those above)

Currently have McFadden & Charles at RB, Floyd as my 2nd WR & Green-Ellis as my flex. Second guessing myself starting McFadden; coming back from injury & Browns have done pretty well against the run recently. Thinking of moving Green-Ellis to RB, sitting McFadden & putting Moss at flex. Thoughts?

Yea, I'd have a hard time putting McFadden in since Reece has been playing well and Oak has said Reece will still play some. Not to mention Goodson is back as well.

I'd do what you said put Green ellis and Moss.

Dallas Defense @ home vs Philly (rookie QB, questionable Shady)

or

Carolina's Defense @ KC. I have a serious feeling there is going to be that emotional wave going to the KC team. Either it could be a miracle and they play their asses off. Or the tragedy has shocked them beyond the ability to prepare an offensive game plan.

Thoughts?

Well my 5 and 8 game win streaks will likely be snapped. :tibor:

I know I've lost the 5 game streak to one of the worst teams in the league because every player on his team seemingly got 10-11 points (no outstanding performances, but all decent, including Jets D and his kicker).

In the other league I have an outside shot IF Nicks goes off tonight. I need a 25 point PPR effort. Not likely, but the matchup is keeping some hopes up. 2 TDs, 80 yards and 5 receptions, is that too much to ask? lol

That Atlanta NO game hosed me big time. I (and everyone else in the world) thought that would've been a shootout.

You and I are in the same boat. 6 game streak ended.

My workhorses (Brees & Graham) got me nothing. Dallas' defense
shit the bed against a rookie QB.

My opponent had the Jets defense which gave him gaudy numbers.
I lost by nearly 50 points.

If I had even normal production from those 3 spots, I probably win by 10 points.

Trent, Danario, Gordon & Marshall all got me double digits. Gordon with nearly 4x what he was projected to get. Justin Blackmon came back
down to Earth. Denarius Moore decided to check out early and I failed
by not starting Chris Givens against San Fran.

A sad, sad week indeed.

Need help. I didn't get a bye. 1st round of the playoffs.

Cincy's Defense at home vs Dallas
San Diego's at Pittsburgh (Batch starting)
or
Jacksonville vs Dirty Sanchez (possibly Tebow) at home?

I'm honestly torn here.

#2 WR spot. Danario Alexander vs Pittsburgh (Issac Taylor with possible ankle issue) or Justin Blackmon at home vs the Jets with Henne @ QB??

on defenses...are those your best 3 options? I'm not so sure it's a guarantee Batch will start, sounded like Ben was close last week, he may be able to go this week..and I would never trust the Bungals....and Jville, I bet even the Jets will score pts

I totally disagree with the other poster about the Indy D. Their D is horrible and CJ could have a decent game and I can see Tenn getting 25-30 points in a shootout.

I'd roll with Jax D or San Diego. San Diego's D is better, but at Pitt is scary, so I'd grip tight and hope the Jax D can hold down one of the worst offenses in the NFL.

As for WR, Denario Alexander all day long. He's been money the last 4-5 weeks and Blackmon could end up blanking - something you can't risk in a playoff. I think Denario is good for at least 7 points in standard scoring (or 70 in your league, :wink2:). I like a very good #2 WR against a better D - less attention and more targets.

Btw, I'm in the same boat, my loss put me at 10-2-1 and I was tied for 1st place (the other guy scored 140 points this week to my 82 and barely took me on overall points). However since we're playing divisions, there's a 8-5 guy who won the other division gets the bye over me (he's the only guy to make the playoffs from the other division... LAME. He'd be 4th, maybe 5th in my division (didn't check the overall points).:pissed:
