Fantasy Football Advice

Need help with the flex spot, normal scoring. Mike Wallace vs Cleveland/Mikel Leshoure vs Houston/Ahmad Bradshaw vs GB. I'm definitely leaning away from Wallace since his top two QB's are hurt. Both Green Bay and Houston have solid fantasy defenses against the run game. I'm leaning Leshoure after what Parmele did to them last week, but any opinions would be helpful.

PPR League, pick 2:

Julio Jones @ Tampa Bay
Malcom Floyd vs. Baltimore
Kendall Wright @ Jacksonville

I currently have Floyd & Wright in my lineup since Jones has been banged up, but it looks like he's going to play today & Tampa's pass defense is ranked 32nd.....help?

Jones & Floyd. Kendall Wright hasn't had a game of four catches or more since week six, nor has he broken more than 70 yards receiving more than once all season. Titans WR's have been fantasy plague all season & I just have no faith in any of them. Ever.

Yeah, Jones is hurt & only has seven grabs in his last two games, but his potential far exceeds either of the other two. Floyd has been a consistent 4-6 catch guy for about 50 yards type of guy all season. Add in a few TD's & you have a solid, but not spectacular player. This emergence of Danario Alexander in the last few weeks has been a blow to his targets (Specifically in the Red Zone), but he's had about the same receiving numbers the last five games.

I'd go with Julio & Floyd. Playing any Tennessee WR is a huge gamble even if they're playing the Jags. I don't think Wright is a bad play by any means, I just like the other two better.

I went with Julio (thankfully) and Floyd lol

You're welcome. Both got TD's & Jones had himself a heck of a day.

Couple stories to share. My touch screen is a jackass and
I made one roster move that apparently turned into two.

Dropped Philly's defense. When I did I guess I accidentally
Checked Malcolm Floyd as well. Not sure how it happened.
But it did. I personally know most of the people in my yahoo
League. So I text the commish, then post a bulletin telling
Everyone what happened. Figured most people would understand.

I look last week, he's claimed off waivers 1 day before I can get him
Back. Most importantly, by a kid that I didn't really need another reason
To beat the shit out of next time I see him ( story for another time)

So I did a little Indian rain dance and cursed the team that has Floyd.
Said douchebag that claimed him was 2nd in our league, me a close 3rd.
He's now lost 2 straight since my little ritual and I'd like to take this moment
To thank the fantasy football god's. When the heart is pure, they are just and
Wise.

As for tonight. I'm down 4 points. Only Carolina's defense left. Opponent has
Johnothan Stewart. This win would be 6 straight. I need them to embarrass
The iggles, who are without Vick & Shady.

Good weekend for me, I'm now 10-1-1 (8 straight wins) in my PPR league and secured the BYE for week 14 playoffs. I now have to decide if I should tank week 13's matchup to give me a better bracket. I probably won't because of that whole angering the FF gods thing. This is, by far, the best I've done in fantasy football in the regular season. Now it's all about week 15 to get into the $$$.

My other team in the standard league also clinched a playoff spot with an 8-4 record and won 5 straight. My team scored the 2nd most points this week despite having to put in Mendenhall and his -1.4 points this week. I had Hillman slated to start for the injured McCoy and am still trying to figure out how all the reports were wrong. I'm dropping both Hillman and Mendenhall for a TE (Gates has been awful) and probably Jacquizz Rodgers.
I now have 3rd place all by myself and could get the bye if I win next week and either #1 or 2 loses.

:highfive:

9-3!! 6 straight!! Shout out, fantasy gods!!

Speaking of - do not tank. You will invoke the wrath.

I'm facing the Malcolm Floyd stealing douche this week.
I call upon you once moreth, fantasy gods. I could possibly
Jump to the #1 overall spot with a win and a the #1 team
Losing (tie breaker to me)

The big question is.. praise be Daniel Thomas or praise be
Danario Alexander??

I'd put Freeman last, Denver's D is too solid, especially in the secondary - plus they get pressure on QBs.

I'd lean Kaepernick, he'll get some rushing yards (possibly rushing TD) and should pass fairly effectively. Shaub could do well, but if the Texans D holds - they could just rely on the run.

Schaub vs Titans or Freeman vs Den or Kaepernick (if he starts) vs STL?

Kaepernick because he is starting. Efficient at the QB spot & will get you some rushing yards. Texans will probably have the lead the whole game at Tennessee & Schaub will probably not be needed to do to much to win, but I think everyone thought the same thing two weeks ago at home to Jacksonville & look how that turned out. Schaub has passed for a boat load of yards the past two weeks because the Texans D has been non-existent during that stretch, but I think they get it together this week against a weak Titans team. Freeman at Denver is a very risky play. He had his first touchdown-less game of the season last week & although you'd expect him to bounce back in that regard, Denver has a great defense & get the Bucs at home.

Kaepernick at St. Louis is probably your best play. Schaub at Tennessee is a very close 2nd, while Freeman at Denver is a big risk, even though I could see him having a good day against a team that can score points & make it a come-from-behind game early. I don't think you could go wrong with either Schaub or Kaepernick (Both good options this week), I just like Kaepernick a little better.
