Reading over the top Buckeye comments is cool most of the time, but a few more different opinions would be welcome. Would be kind of cool and different to read a couple posts not about how every human in the world not playing or coaching for OSU is part of a conspiracy to make OSU lose or look bad. Some of our non-OSU friends have been some of my favorite posters, Gator included. I mean, I've seen people jump down other OSU fans' throats for just expressing their opinions on current or former OSU players.

I agree. Love the site and I understand there needs to be some moderation, and I appreciate the people who take the extra time to moderate the site, but I think there's nothing wrong with (harsh) criticism as long as it's not straight up trolling, and I think it gets a little echo chamber-y when almost no criticism is allowed.

Absolutely, and I think criticism is allowed. Buckeye bashing and criticism are two different things. I have no issues with the rule or the rule enforcers, but the issue comes from people who refuse to accept that not all OSU players are going to the pros and making the HOF.

C'mon, guys. This is not a big change. It's just that as a group, we've started to lean more towards assuming guests are trolls and testing them rather than assuming they are not and leaving it to them to prove otherwise. Competitiveness is fine, but we've been there before and that should show, right? We're usually pretty good about that, but when we stopped to consider it, it seems we've slid a bit recently. Let's just take things down a couple of notches, that's all.
