It's posts like these that make me wonder why 1) I still live in Huber Heights, and 2) how the fuck this person and I were friends.

Speaking of Huber Heights...

I've been meaning for a long time to scan this gem and post it here, and I finally dug it out tonight. Here is as good a place as any to put it. This is a real letter I got from my landlord when I lived in Huber. I was already making plans to move in with my girlfriend (now wife) when I got this, and I was gone just a months after. Enjoy!

EDIT: I notice something new with this letter every time I look at it. Tonight I noticed that after the big red "must" in the first paragraph, there is a small patch of white out. That's right, they whited something out, and left the rest of that.

Jesus.... Countryside Acres.. Fuck. That. Place.

Had a friend living there last year. Any time I'd go over there, it was like the movie Duplex. Our every move was heard by the people who lived downstairs there.

Yeah, it was a real shithole. So glad to be out of that place.

My first downstairs neighbor would get drunk and come up to my door and yell at me because she thought I was stealing her alimony checks from her mailbox. She said not to bother to call the cops on her either because she was "in cahoots" with (see also: banged) several of them.

I was still young enough then that I thought it was more funny than bothersome.

How do these kinds of people run/own a business or in this case a rental property?

They don't for long. Stupid people think it's an easy way to get rich because a late night infomercial tells them it is.
