Are you saying that his verbal is not as "solid" as is AAU coach is saying? I don't get the "read between the lines".
i think it was a subtle jab at my not quoting precisely what his coach said, considering that it is a free article.

multiple sources (solid or not) have claimed that thomas has not wavered from his initial commitment... only that he is placating those who want him to go elsewhere (or perhaps those who genuinely want him to take his time making his decision).

it took me a couple hours to decipher his statement. perhaps others will have better luck with the free article.
haha, there wasn't much reading betyween the lines... his coach flat out just said it. Anyways, the kid is only 15-6yrs old playing with upperclassmen. He still had 14pts. I will take it. he will bounce back from it I'm sure.

This very cool news.

I would read virtually NOTHING into Thomas' play in this case, based on his previous body of work. His team was blown out, and he was playing up. Its tough for the younger guy to lead an older team when the team is overmatched.

scoring 14 points was not really "bad news." i was just posting the two tidbits in a bad news/good news way... you know... to set up the coach's comment. i've seen deshaun in person. even if he has a handful of games without scoring a single point, i wouldn't be the slightest worried.

Ahhhh... I was so focused reading between the lines for the coach's comments that the "bad news" went completely over my head.

Thomas and his family are under pressure to at least look at the in-state schools that is why he backed off his verbal to Ohio State.......he has always been solid to Ohio State since the verbal but it sounds like his AAU coach either slipped or his family is behind the verbal at this point.....this recruitment will have plenty of twists and turns.....
