You can't really take what these kids say as fact. You just have to wait for the final outcome.

"It ain't gonna change," Thomas told the station. "I committed. That's where I'm going to be and I'm going to go there. It ain't gonna change."
The bananas love that kind of talk.
haha, this all proves that once again, you can't trust college/highschool kids when they say things in the media.
Couldn't have said it better.wadc45;859824; said:The Gordon situation is bound to be referenced numerous times over the next three years (especially by desperate IU fans). But I will say this much...I would have liked OSU chances had this one come down to Signing Day '10. Add to that the fact that he has already named OSU as his leader (by offering a verbal and then retracting) I still like OSU chances given Matta's track record. Long way to go, but you can't be sitting any prettier than the Buckeyes are at this point.
Not so fast, Buckeyes: Luers star wants to keep his options open

Apparently DeShaun Thomas' commitment to Ohio State isn?t so secure, for now.
More than a week after making an oral commitment to the NCAA runner-up Buckeyes and coach Thad Matta, Thomas has decided to look at more college suitors.
I know what school I want to go to,? Thomas said. The other schools didn't think it was fair I made the choice so quick.?
After taking an unofficial visit to the school, Thomas made the commitment. But after speaking with his father and Bishop Luers coach James Blackmon, Thomas decided to decommit to Ohio State.
They're still very good about the decision regarding Ohio State, Blackmon said. It could be the place he commits to in a couple of years.
He wanted to visit some more schools. If they had to decide today or tomorrow, they would choose Ohio State. This is just an opportunity to visit others.
