F DeShaun "The Diesel" Thomas (Panathinaikos - Greece)

"I committed there and that is where I want to be."

and

"It ain't gonna change," Thomas told the station. "I committed. That's where I'm going to be and I'm going to go there. It ain't gonna change."

The bananas love that kind of talk.

Keep in mind that this is still a 15 year old kid, and 15 year kids change their mind constantly.

But with that said, it doesn't get much better than what he is saying, and the action he took by committing.

Still every reason to be excited...

Thomas steps back on commitment.

Indiana?s premier rising sophomore basketball player and one of the best in the nation, DeShaun Thomas, has backed off on his recent announcement that he will attend Ohio State University in 2010.

The 6-7, 210-pound swingman had a sensational freshman year at Fort Wayne Bishop Luers, averaging 28.9 points and 13.3 rebounds. He is equally adept inside and outside and is an excellent ball handler.

Luers coach James Blackmon told MaxPreps.com that Thomas? parents want him to visit some other schools ? including Indiana, Purdue, Duke and Michigan State ? before making his final choice.
