LEAVE. The thing you don't get, moron, is that we hate you because you are an idiot, not because you are an ex-weasel (well, not entirely because of that - the whole smell thing which I explained earlier still comes through pretty strongly). Your posts suck, your stories suck, and you come across like a jr. high nerd who is doing everything they can to fit in. Well, hopefully you figured it out - you don't fit it. Don't let the door hit you on your way out.

Part of it is that I lack that testosterone-driven assholish streak, where I take out my failures on other people and live my unseen glories vicariously through a football team.

I fucking hate it when people say this. I am an alumni of The Ohio State University, and am damn proud of it. I love OSU, period. I love the tradition and history, the feeling of being part of something special, and I had a great time while I was there. This is why I may defend it a bit too strongly (in your eyes). As far as hating scUM, I have embraced the rivalry, and when it comes to competition between us and them, I don't like the weasels. Do I HATE all of them? No. Hell, I grew up in Michigan, not too far from ann arbor.

As far as living vicariously through our football team, that's just a bullshit statement by someone who doesn't get it. I have no need to live through anyone else- I've got a challenging, high-paying job, a nice house, a great wife; I can't really complain (and I'm not a fat, bald couch-slug, either). Ohio State, and OSU football is a part of me- it always will be. I enjoy living MY life cheering for the Buckeyes. It means a hell of a lot to me; you may someday understand that, but you obviously don't get it yet.

If you can't understand that, and your feelings are so easily bruised that you're not having fun here, then beat it.

Whenever a poster is feeling lonely, you will be there. Whenever a poster is looking for a shoulder to cry on, you will be there. Whenever the BuckeyePlanet community is thinking "oh my god, who is this piece of shit posting on our forum polluting our board with his idiocy", you will be there.

That line of his really got me. Instead of being able to understand the world of Buckeye Football, he tries to pyscho-analize those who do.

For the record, my glories are well noted in my Marine Corps SRB. I walked away from college football build that SRB. I've done things that make football look like pre-school.

I grew up in Daytona Beach a fan of Florida football. I suffered the Galen Hall fallout. Rejoiced in the arrival of Steve Superior. And to this day, I still love my Gators. But all the while, I knew about Ohio State football. It was something that UF couldn't fathom. I never missed a rendition of "The Game". Not hard to find on TV in Florida with over 30,000 active OSU alumni in and around Orlando.

Not until my first Buckeye game did I really "get" Ohio State football. Holiday Bowl-1993. That's when I "got it".

I now live here, work here, and love being here. I have missed two home games since the mid 90's. And I was upset about missing those two.

I think we should make a poll for most hated poster...just because I think it would be interesting...Any nominations for people to put on the list. I think LouisHMartinez, BuckeyeBeliever and Ex-Wolv would be nominations...Since I thought of the poll, I'll even subject myself to the ridicule and throw my name in the hat. Who else makes the list?
