They're talking about the '01 Miami team and it's great defense and how Ken Dorsey was a great leader. What the fuck!? They didn't mention this shit when they talked about the '02 Ohio St. team that knocked off '02 Miami with Ken Dorsey and all the weapons they had. Fuck, fuckity, fuck, fuck, fuck. ESPN and especially Kirk Herbstreit and Mark May are full of shit. They finally decide to bring up defense with the Miami team, what about the Ohio St. team? Almost that entire defense is either starting or has played significant time in the NFL and it also shut down that heralded Miami offense that was too fast for us just like USC is. I'm losing my mind. What pisses me off is no one calls them on it. They actually go around thinking they know what they're talking about. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I'm very sorry for all the cursing. Just trying to vent. If you guys don't want it on our forum because it doesn't represent us well then I'll delete it. There are so many morons that have a chance to have their voice heard it's disgusting.

Yeah I saw this shit. It is just getting ridiculous now. I think it is all a big play by ESPIN to get the fans riled up a little bit, b/c no one can honestly take these fuckers seriously.

USC hasnt played a defense that was ranked in the top 30, but yet they are the greatest O' of all time.

Whatever happened to the statement, to be the best you have to beat the best.

You can't compare the 2001 and 2002 Miami teams. 2001 was much better and part of the reason the 2002 version was so overrated. They lost a lot of talent in 2001.

My goodness, why would anyone care what ESPN thinks? Every team that wins a NC needs a lot of luck.

Our 2002 NC team had guts and they knew how to win the close one. The offense wasn't much to write home about but they were a very, very good team who could have played with any other NC team.

The 2005 USC team was good and they did ol' methomps proud. They didn't repeat as national champions because of their defense, not the offense. Clearly, USC is not the best this year and all of the bravado that ESPN put behind them is now an embarrassment. Don't forget, this was a home game for USC.

I don't think either team was the best of all time. I don't think either team could beat Ohio State right now.

I guarantee you that Herbie was a bit embarrassed last night when Corso out-picked him! But opinions are like...well, we all have one. Now, if you want to see sour grapes, look at Stewart Mandel's column yesterday in which he is already trying to tear down the 2006 Buckeyes.

So, who cares what these yahoos think? We know we got some big shoes to fill but we also know what's coming back.

The way I hear it, the 2006 Buckeyes need to be on that list! Give Tressel six months to prepare for any opponent...:slappy:
