ESPN College Gameday (official thread)

Did anyone see Fowler say that Columbia was the capitol of Missouri? He said something along the lines of "Now we are going from one Columbia (South Carolina) that is a capitol city, to another where the Missouri Tigers and Colorado are playing." Don't they just read of a teleprompter? So then more than one person could have seen the potential error and they still screwed it up. Oh well, it's ESPN and it doesn't surprise me.

Going by what you posted, he didn't say that at all

I hate to say this but our fans closest to the stage look/sound like fucking idiots. Between the "Corso Sucks Dick" sign, and people [strike]singing[/strike] screaming over the guys talking on the podium they're off to a great start. I had beer for breakfast in college, too, but I didn't do it on national TV. :wink2:

While not typically a fan of the "overrated" chant I did appreciate it during the Boise highlights.

It seems the people down in front were reigned in during the commercial break. You CAN have fun without making an ass of yourself. Looks like that point was made to them.

So Gameday is here in Chicago for the Northwestern vs. Illinois game at Wrigley Field. I live no more than a block away from Wrigley. Tonight when I was walking my dog we walked over by the stadium to take a couple pictures. They have started setting up the Gameday site. The stadium looks pretty cool, and it should be a madhouse in the area Saturday.

Here are a couple of pictures I took real quick with my iPhone.

I managed to watch about 5 minutes today. I don't know how anyone watches 2-3 hours of pregame shows on Saturday (or Sunday for that matter). It's just too repetitive and boring, the same shit said 12 different ways.

I'll turn back over for the last 5 minutes to see who Corso picks but that's about it. Let me know when the game starts.
