ESPN (A bunch of Death-Spiraling maroons)

Domonique Foxworth is a big dum dum:

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nf...-foxworth-for-josh-allen-comments/ar-BB1bZhPi

“I am fully aware that I have biases. And my biases are not based on Josh Allen. It’s based on the people that are defending Josh Allen. I would be 100 percent lying if I said that when Josh does something dumb, a little part of me doesn’t get happy. And it’s not because I don’t want Josh to succeed,” Foxworth said.

“It’s because the people who are telling me that Josh is the second coming and Josh is better than everybody are people with American flags and dogs and skulls and crossbones. … If you go just take a dip into their tweet history, it’s some really concerning retweets and likes. … It’s not about Josh.

Lmao...

So...

SEC Championship is Florida Alabama..
ACC Championship is ND Clemson

And the tournament they want to broadcast are the same goddamned teams?

Taking this post and the previous, well stated, region one... I will bring up what is a valid point to my cable-cut ass.
If I'm not interested in bowl games, then I end my subscription earlier than anticipated.

If more and more people pay for what they want to watch instead of the tripe pushed by those with specific interests, then I wonder if the money well will get just tight enough that they need to reconsider some things.

Those poor dumb motherfuckers https://www.espn.com/college-footba...committee-remains-disappointingly-predictable

They are now whining about the monster they created being too predictable so they can't get enough controversy over it.

What a bunch of horseshit. I'm sure the writer doesn't have power over the company choices, but if you're not going to point out this is a corporate entity and problem, then shut up.

The solution has never been more obvious. Dissolve or greatly reduce the bullshit committee, go to 8 teams, and have some actual guidelines for getting in.

5 Power 5 Conference Champions (Alabama, Clemson, OSU, Oregon, Oklahoma)
1 Group 5 Conference Champion (Cincinnati)
2 At Large Bids (Notre Dame, Aggies)

There. The only controversy then comes down to the at large, and at least now you know before the season starts, win your conference and you're in. Lose and it's your problem. I'd go farther, but this is the bare minimum in my mind.

FCS has been doing this for more than a decade. It's not rocket science. It's just a fact that ESPN wants total control over who gets in and how they can create matchups and storylines. How FBS football fucks this stuff up when every other sport and division has it figured out is mind-boggling.

They'll probably hate that even more cause it reduces the controversy even further and makes it more boring. They like when they can talk abot people being snubbed and surprised by the entrants apparently?

Those poor dumb motherfuckers https://www.espn.com/college-footba...committee-remains-disappointingly-predictable

"We have seen this four-team playoff in action for seven years now, and it has never been more predictable. That is a shame not only for the teams that deserve more consideration or inclusion, but for the sport itself."

They are now whining about the monster they created being too predictable so they can't get enough controversy over it.

This year, it happens to be No. 3 Ohio State and No. 4 Notre Dame. The Irish made it in over Texas A&M with what the committee called a better body of work. Ohio State only played six games, but the committee deemed that enough because it won its conference championship and had two ranked wins.

The article has nothing to do with "predictability" and everything to do with the ESPN agenda of wanting Texas A&M instead of Ohio State. They wanted that second SEC team in to prove SEC's superiority, etc.
