ESPN (A bunch of Death-Spiraling maroons)

Feels like Fowler and Herbie have been pretty questionable all year. I don't remember the specific games, but remember Fowler struggling earlier in the year with names and/or keeping up with what was going on on the field. When your job is to talk about the action happening in the game, it's a pretty ballsy move to just not pay attention for stretches of it.

It was also painful as fuck to hear them act like Mac Jones who never runs was a warrior out there with a thigh bruise while ignoring Fields clearly not trusting himself to run and Sermon going to the fucking hospital after the first snap. God damn I know Bama had some injuries too but it felt like they were making Bama out to be this warrior of team playing through numerous injuries while we were fully healthy and just getting our asses kicked.

I turned on one of their vids on the Espin NC game webpage during halftime I think and I heard "with Alabama.. something about playing through adversity with injuries" and that was all I needed to hear to shut down the internet.

I'm watching the ACC network - something occurred to me.

The commercial breaks are all advertising for other ESPN properties. Much like when a radio station is about to go under so all you hear is advertising for the programming of the same station and not ads from businesses or whatever, the ACC network isn't generating any advertising money or so it seems. That can't be healthy long term.

Yeah even for them it was bad. Like an official missing an obvious false start and then 3 plays later forgetting the defense can't have 13 men on the field.

Announcers aren't usually that great, but Fowler and Herbie are closer to two guys at the hairdresser talking about the game while nodding off every few minutes than pros. Can't imagine ESPN is so invested in them that they can't find better talent.
