I must say the only thing that kills me is right now... ESPN's mobile site seems to be the best place for getting fast relatively update to date in game scores, SI is painful, Yahoo is a joke. If anyone has any better recommendations for Android I'm all ears.

Well, he's a white boy, and he sure was wasted, so I'm not clear what the problem is. Though Jalen Rose is a douchebag, without a doubt.

How about if one of the black players on the Patriots was dancing all drunk and a white commentator said he was all "****** wasted", would you still not have a problem?

Whiteboy wasted is actually a line from a hip-hop song. Up until now I was under the impression it just meant spectacularly drunk. Since I intended to make this post I looked up the term on urban dictionary and appearantly it means you got drunk using a mix of alcohol and pills.

I kinda wish the double-standard stuff would cool a bit. Jalen Rose is a proven race-baiter, and going back to the original point it makes ESPN look stupid as usual when they blithely broadcast his racist nattering while making a national issue out of any minority identity-related commentary.

Here's Rose's halfass apology:

"You guys got me in trouble," Rose said before the show wrapped, per ProFootballTalk.com. "Earlier in today's show, we were talking about the Patriots' postgame party and I made some comments that other people -- some people -- took as insensitive remarks, so for those that took it that way, I definitely apologize. Pretty sure I always say things that upset people, get under people's skin. I guess today was no different. So I'm sorry for the pushback."
