ESPN (A bunch of Death-Spiraling maroons)

Blatantly political posts have been removed. Keep it in the proper forum.
Wow.

OK. Try this. Do not assume I feel one way or another about any political or other issue.

Sports is a way to get away from the problems of the world. I sense ABC/ESPN has an agenda that they are pushing. I would rather hear about the QB "problem" at Ohio State (or the lack of QB's at Alabama, scUM, etc.) than to have celebrations of minority sexual expressions aired.

Either ESPN is a sports network or it is a sports-is-an-avenue-for-social-change network. Seems to me they should do sports - and I would feel that way regardless of which side of the, let's say, trans issue I fall on.

Except that sports has also always been an agent of change as well. Robinson, Doby, Carlos, Billie Jean King...whether you agree with whatever or not, there's no denying there's a story...would you expect them not to cover Jackie Robinson's integration if it was happening today?

I feel that way about BuckeyePlanet, which is why those posts were removed from a what's supposed to be a sports-related thread in a sports-related subforum.

I made no comment on your views or those of anybody else who continued that line of discussion after you. You are free to resume that discussion in the appropriate sub-forum.

Did you guys hear about this:

https://twitter.com/mcmurphyespn/status/622876879087894528

Apparently there's some mythical SECEspin 'Car Wash' and none of the B1G coaches attended.

I know it's not really washing cars, but thanks for the visual, SECEspin. Yet another reason why I hate you now.

Last thing I think I'd want to see in my mind is Bert on top of a Jetta in a wife beater washing it...
