ESPN (A bunch of Death-Spiraling maroons)

Yeah, I could see that. With Chris Fowler kind of blocking his career advancement, it's very possible Rece bolts. That would just leave Mark May for Gameday, and I doubt he can carry the program with a couple of newbies. Just as long as they don't stick Desmond Howard in one of those chairs...
Mark May and Desmond on game day, what a thought.

I don't think Rece Davis would ever go anywhere. He gets more studio time than Fowler as it is, gets to do play-by-play on midweek games, and anchors the College Basketball and ponies too -- and Rece loves horse racing. He's not getting a better job anywhere else.

I'd hate to see him go too. He and Bilas are the only damn redeeming things on ESPN left.

I wouldn't know if they did to be honest. If Ohio State is on ESPiN for some reason, whenever the game goes to halftime or a commercial break I will be switching channels immediately so I don't have to watch any of the propaganda.

If you have a DVR, if you record the game and start about 33-38 minutes late (12:33 - 12:38 pm for noon kick), by the start of the fourth quarter you'll be all sync'd up live (fast-forwarding thru pregame, halftime and commercials).

So it'll take you less time to watch the game. But I had to do it b/c I was limiting the amount of hours watching TV weekly (so it's not normal).

Blackledge: SEC players are more NFL ready than others

Yes, the SEC was everywhere you looked during the most recent NFL Draft. This was nothing new of course. Not that you really need another voice telling you just how good the talent coming out of the SEC is when it comes to the NFL Draft, but ESPN college football analyst Todd Blackledge reiterated the point recently at a fundraiser at Samford.

“SEC players, for the most part, are more NFL ready than a lot of players coming from other parts of the country,” Blackledge said, according to a report by AL.com.

“The Draft has been the great indicator here the last several years of where the most talent is in college football,” Blackledge said. “That’s why, up until last year when Florida State won, that the SEC has dominated the national championship picture as well.”
