Lots of people here seem to be violating the ESPN No-Watch Zone edict. Look for sanctions to be imposed.
So, what was Barbie wearing? Stewardess or nurse outfit?
I heard some of that nonsense they were spewing during the game about the parity. In the same vein they totally hacked MSU and said there was no way that they could conceivably compete in the SEC on a consistent basis. When you have two hacks like Palmer and Pollack announcing what else can you expect.....Laughed out loud at the commentators for the Miss State - Kentucky game.
Miss State took over inside the 5 yard line by a Kentucky punt. At this point, the commentators began talking about how fortunate Miss State was to have the left guard to run behind. This brought on an obvious and banal "package", including stories about his youth and the like..."his mom says he really likes to eat, always has!".
As Miss State opened up a bit of space by running right through Kentucky, the announcers patted themselves on the back for their insights. Only problem is that Miss State was running over right tackle every play.
They then launched into a ten minute discussion about how last week's SEC losses simply showed that the SEC was getting to parity..."every team is great"...and telling listeners that they were stupid to think that the losses suggested that the SEC teams weren't as good as advertised.
We get to listen to the commentators here, while commercials run in the US. If you heard them talking to their masters, you would never think that they were expressing their own opinions. I did recently hear one of them say, "I'm not really comfortable with that. He's my friend. No, a long time friend. Can he say that instead? Ok, you'll say that and I'll follow with the..."
They were what? That's goddamned hilarious actually, considering that from 2001-2006, MSU was 17-52. From 2007-2012, they were 41-35. So if anything they have been a lot more competitive since E$ECPN went all "SEC SPEEDZ1!11!1!eleventy-Herbstreit!!1!!"I heard some of that nonsense they were spewing during the game about the parity. In the same vein they totally hacked MSU and said there was no way that they could conceivably compete in the SEC on a consistent basis.
