Either way we are fine at the QB position. Haskins is capable of being a solid QB for 3 years. Martell and Baldwin waiting in the wings. No worries at all.

If Haskins is who we think he is he won't be around next year.Either way we are fine at the QB position. Haskins is capable of being a solid QB for 3 years. Martell and Baldwin waiting in the wings. No worries at all.
QBs generally need to start more than 1 yr to be considered viable NFL prospects -- if that is what you are suggesting. true of all positions I suppose, but I think the reps are a lot more important for QBs than other positionsIf Haskins is who we think he is he won't be around next year.
While I agree with you, I think if Haskins has a good year next year, he will leave.QBs generally need to start more than 1 yr to be considered viable NFL prospects -- if that is what you are suggesting. true of all positions I suppose, but I think the reps are a lot more important for QBs than other positions
3. no I agree. 2 years as starter is not unlikely.....unless truly spectacular in 2018There's no likely scenario where Haskins is good and stays for 3 years.
Back to Emory.
I think we are more than set at QB no matter what. But I do agree with a post put here earlier that we seemed to be in the same position when we missed on DeShaun Watson. Do I think Jones is in the same ballpark as Watson? Yes. He is. I like Baldwin a ton and we have a great QB room right now. But that does not stop me from really, really, really wanting Jones in this class. Emory is one of the best QB prospects I have watched on film in some time and I think he will be a star here.

OSU and Bama have been behaving in pretty much the same manner.Bama still doesn’t have a QB in this cycle and we just picked up a second QB? That would sure seem like writing on the wall normally.
I thought I heard we would “know more” after this last weekend.
Regardless, I’m glad to have this saga nearing it’s end. For some reason this drama has annoyed me much more than others. It’s been long enough. Are we going to the dance or not?
Auburn in the mix?OSU and Bama have been behaving in pretty much the same manner.
Really pursuing Emory but without supreme confidence.
Chasing Jarren Williams. (miami verbal)
Pursuing Baldwin (although Bama didn't offer).
Buckle in, boys.
He visited Barn for the win over then #1 UGA. If you're looking for a silver lining, it's that he has more than one fling and that he's not nearly done to Bama.Auburn in the mix?
If not, they should be.
