I have a slice of buttered white bread to soak up the yolk, and then I put extra yolk goo (the stuff that's not quite solid, but definitely not liquid) on a piece of wheat toast. Can't beat it.

Snot biscuits? No, thank you. :dead:

Scramble those boys and pass the Tabasco.

$5 a dozen seems to be the going rate for local farmers everywhere I hear
I bet they're struggling with wanting to jump those prices since they are so much lower than commercial eggs

Reminds me of a story when I worked at Goodyear
Dealer said.. why are these Eagle tires $315? I can get the equivalent Michelin tire for $275
I replied "then you should buy those Michelins"
He replied "they're out of stock"
I replied.. "well hell, when our Eagle tire is out of stock, we only charge $250"

Saw an article yesterday that grocers are actually eating most of the egg price increases. They are cutting back discounts elsewhere in the stores to offset keeping the retail prices lower than they should be.

Interesting. Historically milk was the loss leader. Stores cut milk prices just to get folks in the store.
