It shouldn't be that hard to pay him enough to put him out of reach for programs like Army. In a perfect world he'll have to take a pay cut if he ever wants to make a move.

Not always about money, though. Some coaches have higher aspirations. Wouldn't be surprised to see Warriner a HC somewhere soon. At least it looks like we get him for another season. And with an OL to be overhauled, that's HUGE.It shouldn't be that hard to pay him enough to put him out of reach for programs like Army. I second that emotion. Show Warriner the money. To witness the offensive line go from what it was to the most dominant unit on the team in such a short period of time has been nothing short of miraculous. Of course, there were certainly others who contributed to the transformation (some very talented players recruited by Tress and the Walrus, conditioning by Marotti and staff, the UFM culture/attitude, etc.), but...damnit, just make sure Ed sticks around.
Hilarious quotes at a recent luncheon
http://www.cbssports.com/collegefoo...s-warinner-has-some-good-jokes-about-michigan
Ed Warinner: "If you're worried about Wolverine fans, just move to Pasadena. You'll never have to deal with 'em."
Warinner on lost playbooks in Michigan: "I heard Brady was upset because he hadn't finished coloring them."
I love this guy
If there's a better OL coach in the country, I want to see him. The improvements that the OL has made in one month have been extraordinary.
