East Region vBet and Discussion

That isn't how Syracuse plays the 2-3. Their rotations can be a thing of beauty. I didn't bet on them but they will be a formidable opponent if they meet the Buckeyes.

Oh I have no doubt of that, Bill, and I'm certainly no expert, but it just drives
me nuts to hear so many taking heads citing a defense so heavily slanted to
the post as the key to beating these Buckeyes. If you say Syracuse's version
of a 2-3 isn't vulnerable to 4 shooters (2 very good, one great and one "insane")
from the arc, I'll take your word for it.

I still think even an "average" (for them) shooting game will destroy a zone,
especially one preoccupied with the paint.

No argument from me, but I still see the Buckeyes as being a nightmare matchup for the Cuse.

It depends on the 'Cuse that shows up.

Sometimes that zone is a godsend for them, other times it's a godsend for the opponent.

I think the Buckeyes outside shooting is formidable enough to cause significant trouble.

Everybody, get ready. The tournament for The Ohio State Buckeyes starts today. It's time to rise up fellow fans, the Buckeyes are rolling into the tournament at a ferocious pace, looking to dominate anything and everything in their path. Nothing will stop them, for they want to be known as greatness. It's a six game mission, starting with UT San Antonio, and they will be ready.

So, to all my fellow Buckeye fans out there, I give you a heartfelt :oh:, for we will witness greatness.

Kentucky Princeton game

Regarding the Kentucky Princeton game, I think the only mistake that they Princeton coach made was sitting back for the last 30 seconds and letting Kentucky control the clock and the ball. I would have at least put token pressure on all five Kentucky players. He let them dictate the last 30 seconds and if he would have put a little pressure on them you never know about a turnover or at least a contest shot and I'm not saying that Knigt's shot was not contested but because the Princeton defender was not on him from the beginning he had a running start.

Mason back within 1 of Nova. The Big East school is living by the three while the CAA school is scoring in the paint.
